In 1965 a shocking horror movie was filmed in Argentina. Released only in the US and because of the censorship, the film disappears forever. Years later Miranda decides to initiate a trial for plagiarism to the producers of "Night of the living dead" (1968) because he considers Romero’s film a copy of “Zombies in the sugar cane field”. STATEMENT: While the film is called "Zombies in the sugar cane field. The documentary" is a fiction film within the mockumentary genre.
